6 month update for me. Still vellus hairs, some look a little longer. But I’ve been changing concentrations and now I’m at .2% and will try this for another 6 months. Temples are thinner than ever after the last shed but they’ve been thinning for years so it might pushed out all the weak hairs. Shedding has stabilized now though.

What were you at before again?

How is your shed now is it improved?

I am no longer shedding. However (get ready for bro science), I can’t smell it in the topical at .2% and am not getting the same stimulating feeling I did before when the scalp would get slightly warmer.

So I was on .85% and then switched to .5% now I’m running .2% to get closer to what the study used. I was on .85% for like 3 months? Went through a bad shed and worried that I was using a high concentration so I dropped to .5% but I decided to drop again to be safe.

Have you considered thay your shed is due to not taking finasteride?

Cant speak for Sam but I shed like crazy on higher than .2% and got scalp acne for the first time ever while on finasteride and RU

I’ve been losing hair since I was 16. I have very slow hair loss I doubt it is because of that. I’m 21 currently and NW2 after 5 years so I doubt it.

I've been using 1.6% (1ml per 60ml) for well over 3 months now with no issues and I doubled my dosage to 3.3% (2ml per 60ml) over the last month with no issues other than the smell which I mask out with menthol.

I have seen some positive signs on the wispier not terminal but not vellus hairs around my temples, however I have modified my regime around the same time with vitamin D and menthol. But I have n't had any shedding, in fact my shedding is what I would describe as at non balding levels. I don't think it is the case that shedding is being caused by greater than 1% use, in fact I'm looking to up the dose to 5% if the smell is not too bad.

Cool, I have been playing around with it for a month or 3-4 now. I have had phases with very little shedding. I am now using it by adding three drops in my Zix (60 ml).

I've been using it for nearly five years, there is a longish post in the success stories about my initial success with various other chemicals. I have had heavy shedding periods during that time but always been above baseline. I have discovered over the last year or so that the key for me is keeping my seborrheic dermatitis under control. I may do a five year update at some time once I find the right combination.

4 month update. Yes, it is happening. Slowly, but surely. I had believed, in theory, that if this was going to go big, it would do so between month 3 and 4 when hair came out of telogen after being awakened by Sandalore. That actually has begun, but it looks like it will become more evident between months 4 and 5.
Below is a picture taken tonight. That is hair coming through.I correlated that fact between different pictures. Some already has. Look at the top left. There is a tight group of at least 10 hair there on a previously bald section of temple. There is actually hair coming out all over. I do nothing else so as far as I'm concerned, this is indisputable proof Sandalore does work if you give it enough time.
40% rubbing alcohol, 2 drops Sandalore, 2 drops castor oil and a day later, bottled water added to make 100% in an old empty Minoxidil bottle.

I'm just sitting here after posting that thinking. I mean, there are still things that can go wrong. It can fall out, but you can see the longer thin hairs that showed up a month ago still there. It can stall out and not get thicker, or longer. But sh*t, think about it. It's already pigmented, If that keeps growing, that is the holy grail of hair loss right there on my head. It will still take many months before we see how it plays out ultimately. Another 4 months I think to where it could be judged cosmetically.

Good for you but it’s really hard to see any new hair worth talking about.

Well, I can tell you every one of those dots has a hair coming out of them, and if you look at each grouping, maybe magnified if you can't see it, in various small lengths. I mean look at the top half of the picture as it's more visible there. Dots are small vertical lines. But they're not dots or lines. It's hair.

Ive been using sandalore for 4 months with no results whatsoever so Im very interested.
