I've never heard of fish oils causing shedding I.E. I don't think there is any scientific evidence for that to occur!

I agree your hair loss is minimal. I wouldn't worry about it at all until I was about 21 unless it starts falling over the place at a faster pace.

I feel for you I'm going through the same thing at age 28 though mine has progressed even more than that. Decide what treatment options if any are right for you and then follow through.
