u need to research more. u wont be able to see the intended results by dec. from either fue or strip.

this "moth eaten" look that follicles is talkin about has been seen from some of the old fue transplants when they used larger punch tools. now they use about a .75-.5 mm punch. this has been discussed extensively on hairlosshelp.com's forums. if u wanna kno more about it, hit that forum up.

if you get the strip procedure done you wont be able to shave your hair much lower than a 2-guard. so in ur case, u wanna get the fue procedure done, which leaves virtually no scarring and then u can shave ur head if u want.
