It is not deep. A centimeter deep would be a fairly deep cut right? I don't think it's even a cut. It's a scrape that took off some skin on top. I've been cleaning it with peroxide and keeping Neosporin on it.

I'm pretty sure it's a scrape. There doesn't seem to be any slice or cut in the scalp, but it was bleeding. I'm sorry if I'm being ridiculous like the one poster thought, but I am just really concerned like I said.

That's what I was really worried about... hair not growing back. The scrape/cut I've got is right on the top front of my hair, towards the left side. It's maybe an inch or so long. I'm really upset and worried now that I've damaged my scalp in such an important location.

I just re-cleaned the cut, and examined it closer with a mirror. It's more of a scrape rather than a cut... but I am really kind of freaking out wondering if I've damaged by scalp badly or damaged the hair follicles there. Can someone please put my fears to rest? (Hopefully?)
