Just registered here after finding this thread through Google. I'm 41 years old and I always had dark, very thick and "wiry" hair. Exceptionally thick for a Scandinavian guy. I still have ZERO frontal hairline loss. I never paid attention to my hair, really... most of the time I just cut it...
