I'm just over 6 months post-op FUE and have had really nice hair growth was great coverage and nice hair line; however, over the last several days, I've noticed transplanted hair shedding. It's nothing major, but it's noticeable.
It seems very bizzare that newly transplanted hair can grow...
The picture on the left shows complete baldness at both temples (highlighted in red). In 5 months he gets that kind of density at the temples with transplanted hair? Absolutely impossible.
The videos and information presented by JohnnyL is exceptional, but there is no way there isn't some sort...
Thank you for your very detailed updates. Your transplanted hair is growing in well - you can even see the transplanted area was evenly covered in your 2 week post op photo.
As you had stated in your video, the new hairline frames your face a lot better; however, it was not clear in your video...
You have nice results, but that's because you used 5K grafts! Your donor area is now limited if you have further hairloss - that will be an issue for YOU, not the hair transplant doctor.
Of course, the hair transplant doctor doesn't care because he got his before/after picture for more marketing. Also, it's pretty clear...
You may want to consider why your hair transplant doctor gave you the current density. Maybe your donor area has limited graft availability? Maybe he foresees further hair loss and does not want to add density.
You should have gotten an idea of the density about 1 to 2 weeks post op, when all the scabs...
I can 100% confirm this. I'm about 3.5 months post op and my gf pulled scab that had two small hairs that were stunted. When the scab was removed, there were two tiny hairs peeking through.
It appears that many hair transplant doctors in Turkey maximize profits by getting the most patients in the shortest time possible. When things are done quickly, and technicians are used, problems can arise.
Wait till the 12 month mark and if you're not happy, post your thoughts and results on these types...
There seems to be more taken from your donor area than the 3500 grafts, or maybe they've not grown back just yet.
On a positive note, you're transplanted area looks good!
I had hair transplant with Dr. Ilker Apaydin. Like I said, he's a nice guy that wants the best for his patients. He performed all the channel openings and also did about two-thirds of the extraction; however, his senior tech did the last one-third of the extractions.
If the hair transplant Doctor is toggling between 4 to 5 patients, it will be difficult to get his best effort. ALL the clinics in Turkey and any other location in NA or Europe goal is to make $$$$. They do it by charging a LOT for each graft or they have more than 2 patients per day or they use some sort of...
