You seem to have good donor hair and your expectations are realistic so go for it! as you still have hair on your scalp and are happy with a conservative hairline 3000 grafts would work some magic. ********'s work is great and he's the surgeon I would choose if I were to have a hair transplant, You may also...
Thanks for the the reply guys.
Swingline - Really interesting theory there. My problem is that I'm 24 and experiencing thinning (as mentioned previously I'm going onto a NW3) it seems that the DHT is reacting quite strongly with my hair follicles ... so to get a hair transplant in the next 4 years may still...
Hey guys.
24 years and currently a norwood 2/3 (going by maternal Grandfather I'm destined for a norwood 5a which may happen before 30)
I would like a hair transplant in the future to work with my hair loss (first hair transplant 2500 - 3000 front to midscalp, second hair transplant 2000 - 2500 midscalp vertex) I...
Dusty, have you ever taken finasteride before? I'm tempted to try dutasteride but i think logically if I'm experiencing sides from finasteride I will experience them on dutasteride.
Thanks for the info there dusty, really interesting stuff there on RU. Do you take it yourself? The only off putting thing for me is the unknown aspects about the drug, like long term effects etc.
For the meantime I'm going to take .25 finasteride eod (to avoid sides) and get back onto minoxidil then ween...
Thanks for the reply guys.
Swoop, I have heard about RU but I wouldn't know where to get it and isn't it complicated to use? Don't you have to make a solution? I think you're right about my hair progressing to a NW5 - I would be open to a hair transplant ... but come on .... when does it look good on a...
Hey guys.
I turned 24 in July and have been diffusing for little over a year. I would diagnose my self as a NW3 (Receding at the temples but hair thinning all over) and by the rate I'm going I think I could be a NW4 by next year. I've tried meds such as finasteride, which worked but got fed up with...
I got 'weird' immediate sides with pro scalpin had to switch to brand propecia which I've experienced practically no sides. Did you experience sides on pro scalpin?
Hmm, I'm not entirely convinced by the generic route. Sure A LOT cheaper, but from what I've read and What I've personally experienced on them they seem to be problematic. I dunno, just a theory. I once switched to Kirkland minoxidil and saw that it wasn't as effective as Regaine.
I never thought...
Hey buddy. I'm kind of going through the same problem so I can empathize. Are you using generics?
I've heard of a couple of ways to approach finasteride. Firstly try going through with Propecia for a couple of months. I've heard sides are at there worst at the beginning.
Secondly try weening yourself...
Hi Guys.
I was on generic Propecia ( Proscalpin) A few months back. Literally took 10 tablets before I gave up, before I could see a result. Now, side effects hit me pretty bad, I mean literally the a few hours after I took my first tablet (Like tugging feeling on my balls ... not in a nice...
Thanks for the reply.
My dad has a full head of hair (Bastard!) Maternal Granddad completely bald! My uncles (mums side) Are probably NW3/4.
minoxidil is the only thing I take to battle my hair loss. I started using it in May 2012 ... as you may know it works great for two years then becomes...
Hi Guys,
So i'm researching hair transplants and I'm keen. At 23 and After trying (and HATING) finasteride and minoxidil losing its magic i'm opting for the transplant. I'm not going bald. I've given my self 2 years to save and put money aside for the op and I have a few questions:
A)
I want 2000...
