    Revivogen questions...

Thanks for the replies guys. I hear you, compliance is a pain in the *** but it's not a problem for me because I'm young (almost 25) and deftly afraid of losing more hair, and even worse, looking terrible at the wedding I will hopefully have in the future. Pure motivation keeps me on the...

    Revivogen questions...

All of this revivogen buzz interests me. About me: I am on tricomin, xandrox 5% and 15%, spironolactone 5% (1x a day), and proscar cut into fourths. [btw, my hair count is improving, not just maintaining, with this treatment that I've been on for five months, so I am pleased with the results so far...

Bryan or anyone else: Tricomin or minoxidil first? Why?

I'm very interested in this questions.. I thought it was settled that it's better to put the minoxidil on first and then put the tricomin on maybe 15 minutes later... Which is it? Tricomin first or minoxidil first? I asked Dr. Lee specifically a while ago and he said that using tricomin first...

New product from Shiseido/Kurogrow. Adenogen. Your thoughts?

I`m currently vacationing in Japan and there was a commercial on a new product from Shiseido/Kurogrow called Adenogen. Any thoughts on its efficacy? It ships international if anyone`s curious.

I have no "game" with women. I need help guys.

I think that because women equate dancing with skill in sex, if you already haven't, I advise that you learn a few, very simple moves and go to clubs. With anything, you have to understand "no pain, no gain." You go into the bar/club with nothing. If you leave with nothing, you lost...

Use increased dosage of finasteride rather than use dutasteride?

Oh really? I didn't know that 5mg finasteride would be more likely to grow moobs on someone than dutasteride. I guess I assumed that 5mg finasteride would be less scary side-effects wise than dutasteride.

Use increased dosage of finasteride rather than use dutasteride?

I am curious why no one talks/recommends using an increased dosage of finasteride to fight hairloss if one is not completely satisfied with their hair regrowth progress? If one is currently using 1mg finasteride daily, why is there a jump directly to dutasteride. Shouldn't people try 2.5mg finasteride daily...

Why not dutasteride? Is it really THAT unsafe?

Paradise Lost: I apologize for taking up webspace on GourmetStyleWellness. I suppose I mistakenly believe that people may want to know why a company such as Glaxo-Wellcome didn't go along with the whole phase III process. This was a learning process for me, as I tried to figure out on my own (with some...

Why not dutasteride? Is it really THAT unsafe?

One additional thing I didn't mention because my post was already long enough, were the potential side effects and potential litigation. Any car manufacturer weighs making the car safer vs. potential litigation from an unsafe car part/recall likelihood. I'm sure that Glaxo-Wellcome also...

Why not dutasteride? Is it really THAT unsafe?

Bryan, yeah, I understand your point. Wouldn't your calculation based on having to take a 15 mg pill once a month? What if avodart did research and figured that the ideal balance between safety and effectiveness would be at 7.5mg pill, once per month? Or 5mg, once per month? Avodart has...

Why not dutasteride? Is it really THAT unsafe?

Bryan: yeah, I understand your points. I already thought about them and think they're persuasive. However, consumers are affected by the quantity sold. Consumers feel like they get more if they get 30 tablets for $60 rather than 1 tablet for $60. When it's only 1 tablet, consumers feel...

Why not dutasteride? Is it really THAT unsafe?

Thank you for the information. Some of this I have already seen but I just wanted what you guys thought. For me, I thought that phase III wasn't conducted because the lack of profitability. Because of the long half-life of hte drug, what if you only had to use it 3 times per month or 1 time...

    WHO IS USING spironolactone...

I've been using spironolactone for more than two months and have experienced no sides. I don't know if it's tricomin, nizoral 2%, spironolactone, or xandrox 15%/5%, but my hair situation has improved, I think, a little. I need to get a digital camera... I have frontal and temporal recession.

Why not dutasteride? Is it really THAT unsafe?

I've been on finasteride for close to two years. Why not use dutasteride? And why were the phase III trials eliminated? There's caution about its safety but if they're ok for other users why not for male pattern baldness sufferers? Dutas seems to work just fine and the side effects seem similar to finasteride...

A question about spironolactone and these pesky little clumps

So I'm being a dutiful male pattern baldness attacker by using my xandrox 15 at night and then waiting 10 minutes to put on the spironolactone.. Am I the only one who gets these little clumps/little speckles of solid spironolactone forming in on the skin when I put it on? I think the solid spironolactone doesn't always form in the 5%...
