minoxidil is a BP medicine, you should never ever use it once every x days because doing so causes BP fluctuations. so just stick with the 2,5 or 5 mg/day routine pls.
"Do you think I will be able to maintain my Oral Minoxidil growth with Kirkland Minoxidil dropper?"
Sure! Kirkland contains the exact same minoxidil molecule as Loniten etc does.
in your case: 40 droplets = 1 ml. quick google search: 20 droplets is 1 ml (screenshot below). too may variables (atmospheric pressure, temperature, viscosity, % ethanol, % water, dropper opening size, etc etc) all influence droplet size. and even if you personally got 40 droplets from 1 ml...
almost! one should take 1 ml of a 5% minoxidil topical solution and add 19 ml of pure ethanol to get a 2.5 mg minoxidil/ml solution. Do not use water because minoxidil dissolves only poorly in water. I prefer pure ethanol but it's expensive, wodka will do if you don't have ethanol.
If you're using common...
you can do both, because Loniten as well as Kirkland (or any other brand) contain the same active ingredient Minoxidil. 5% Kirkland solution should be diluted 20x to get 2,5 mg minoxidil from 1 ml solution btw! use a graduated 1 ml dropper like this to get the correct daily volume after diluting.
Thnks! btw I think it's more than believe/theory, you might want to have a look at the studies done. Besides reducing inflammation using tocotrienols, I'm using a growth stimulant (oral minoxidil, 2 x 2,5 mg/day) as well. Imo these two make a great team. Together with some vit C, MSM, OPC...
using 10 ml of a 5% minoxidil topical product means you're putting 500 mg of minoxidil on your scalp in a single application. totally unknown how much of that would get into your bloodstream, but I would never ever take the risk that even 2.5% of that 500 mg would.
So I've been measuring my BP since I started taking minoxidil orally once day in May (and 2 x 2.5 mg/day from 16/6). It's only one data point, but since I started to take minoxidil sublingually yesterday just for the sake of experiment, my systolic BP went up again (diastolic went down, but only...
it has already been proven that oral minoxidil is superior to any other hairloss remedy, including topical minoxidil:
besides being more effective, oral minoxidil use also has acceptable/manageable side effects:
so, why not just focus on these facts, rather than hypothesizing/circular reasoning...
ok I tried to understand better what happens, orally vs GI. this is what I could find:
"When a chemical comes in contact with the mucous membrane beneath the tongue, it is absorbed. Because the connective tissue beneath the epithelium contains a profusion of capillaries, the substance then...
"What are your thoughts about dissolving an oral min tablet under the tongue?" --> should be perfectly fine (cut the pill into 5, 2.5 or 1.5 mg parts though!)
"Would it potentially be the same efficacy as swallowing the tablet?" --> that's the oral vs sublingual discussion, there's no...
