I had very similar hair and hairline at your age. Your crown is strong and shouldn't be going anywhere any time soon. But you do have miniaturization on the hairline. If I were you I would just start finasteride, I would't bother with the minoxidil at this point yet. My guess is it will thicken up those...

I have a small brush I brush my hair a lot with when styling it. I've always used one actually with most long hair styles I've had IE, Hipster bangs & longer middle part. It will not do any harm but I do avoid brushing with wet hair. I've heard you're not supposed to do that.

I try to wash my hair every other day, as mine does start to get greasy after a day without washing. I half towel dry and half blow dry. I also started conditioning recently once a week because I'm growing it out and it's getting longer. Looks damn beautiful.

I am currently taking an SSRI and finasteride with no problems. Probably just extra sleepy is the only side I feel. I also got what I think was a brain zap the other day at work which was super weird.
