I guess if its working for you at just 1x day, just apply at night to a dry scalp, wash out in the morning. As said applying to a wet scalp is dangerous.

I use VO5 styling mousse now. It's easier to apply and doesn't pull my hair out. I thought I was going through a massive shed when using shock waves clay, waxes, gels, etc. The Mousse is just right.
