I don't recommend simply increasing your dose of topical minoxidil. The best available studies indicate that topical minoxidil doesn't appear to interfere with the fundamental balding process, so balding will almost inevitably continue. You should use other products which do interfere in some...
Here's a post I wrote about five years ago on another site about the German doctors who use topical estrogen for male pattern baldness:
Some people on these forums have the rather odd belief that estrogen is involved in hairloss in a negative way; that is, it actually causes or contributes to balding. They...
I have no idea what's going on there. I have no explanation for that study, and I'm not sure what, if anything, that it has to do with fighting male pattern baldness.
I don't doubt that you have lots of information about the "harmful effects" of HRT, the use of oral contraceptive pills, and plant estrogens...
I can't even figure out what he's talking about. The title of this thread is: "Has anyone seen a foam without PPG", then he immediately goes on to say: "I am desperately looking for a foam with PPG..." I'm baffled by what he means.
Not to my knowledge.
Both "good" and "bad" for male pattern baldness?? Not to my knowledge.

Where do you think it's "well documented"?? :)
There's only one relatively easy and inexpensive way to measure DHT, and that's with a simple blood test. That doesn't mean that measuring it with a blood test is the BEST way, for the reason I stated earlier. It's pretty much the only way we CAN measure it. I don't think anybody would want...
People DON'T know what somebody is getting at when anybody uses the term "DHT blocker" or "DHT inhibitor". One should use the same precise, modern terms that doctors use, not something made-up by lay people. To say that a person uses a "DHT blocker" is a little like saying that somebody...
Rather than use the term "DHT blocker" or "DHT inhibitor", I strongly advise using the same term that doctors would use in studies or other professional literature, which is "5a-reductase inhibitor".
