I actually do think this might happen, maybe in fifty years. It won't be in my lifetime, but I do think androgen alopecia will some day be curable.

Baldness sucks. My boss is vertically challenged, and the only thing I notice about him is he has a full head of hair. I'm tall, but I have a Norwood three hairline. I used to say *uck it, and get a buzz cut. But I'm growing it longer, because my nose is the shape of a penis. It's huge.

The benefits of Minoxidil will probably last for around five years. That said, it isn't an androgen blocker, and that's definitely a good thing.

I don't have that much hair loss. My hair stopped receding after I used topical Progesterone. If RU was that great, doctor's could prescribe it, and it would be tested. You're just talking out of your a**hole.

Minoxidil isn't dangerous. It's just not very effective. Just try to get topical Finasteride if you're worried about side effects.

If you have terminal hair (still growing) hair in the balding area, you can still make gains with your receding hairline. If it happened recently, you can still make some gains. Minoxidil will add temporary gains (+5 years), if it works for you. You will need an anti androgen, or liquid...

I've used it before. I did have good results, but they raised the price. Also I took it with topical Finasteride, and 2% Progesterone. Grew a lot of my hair back and kept my hairline solid. I don't think it does much on it's own (Latanaprost).

The majority of people have more hair on their sides and back then they do the crown. That's normal. Our skulls continue to grow for ten to twelve years, at which point it stops growing.
