I knew I forgot to mention something, thanks. There is no family history of hair loss. Not my dad, grandfather, brother, uncles, my son, nobody but me.
I doubt there is one. I know people who spank their monkeys like there's a prize in it for 'em, and they have thick, full heads of hair. All this nonsense about baldness, blindness, hairy palms, are typical of "scare stories" that are used to keep people from doing what the morality police don't...
I remember the first TV commercials for it around '98-ish, maybe a bit earlier. It's been available as a hair loss treatment for a while. Prior to that it was used as an immunosuppressant, I believe.
Hi all, just discovered this site and forum. So bear with me on this rather long post.
At 19 I got my first perm (I'm 49 now). All was well, and after it had mostly grown out, my hair was still thick, shiny, healthy and dark, dark brown at this point. This is where the fun begins. I got it cut...
