Hi all!
Just thought I’d show changes after 7.5 years. I don’t think it’s changed at all. For reference, the image with the books behind is today :). Happy to answer any questions!
Sorry for not coming back to you sooner! No change in beard density really. What I would say is that all the men in my family line could grow beards by age 22. I was well on the way but when I started treatment, my beard stopped filling out. I don’t know if there’s any literature behind it - it...
Hi all.
I’ve been on finasteride for 6 years now (26yo) and thought that people might be interested to know how I’m getting on.
The big question: ED… honestly, I’ve been on it since 19 so I’m not really sure! Most of the time - no problems whatsoever, but it’s not like it was when I was 14 - is...
Looks good to me! If you've a strong family history though, might be the case that balding is startng up- you know the feel/density of your hair better than anyone else- certainly from the photos i can say with a lot of confidence that there's no obvious, visible sign of hairloss.
Afternoon all.
Having spent some time looking at the headways being made in cell-based hair restoration, I think I've managed to distill the main points of interest/challenge going forward. In the interest of brevity, I'll highlight only the main points.
Looking at the results of Shiseido's...
Hi,
Checking in after three years on finasteride!
-I started going bald at the ripe old age of 19 and flipped sh*t. Got on finasteride, experienced NO E.D. and here I am to post some before and after photos three years on.
I think that my hairline is pretty much exactly the same as it was...
First of all- checking in. I'm 22 and I've been on propecia (1mg daily) since jan of 2017. As far as I can tell my hairline remains basically unchanged since then, so finasteride has been effective. I give myself another 2-3 years with this hairline before it slips off again.
I'm not in...
Nah mate, at most it's a maturing hairline. Trust me, i've been through thousands of photos and studied thousands of heads. I know what a balding head looks like and that isn't it. Crack on with your life and come back here when you actually do start going bald!
Hi all, I'll keep this as concise as possible in the interest of time.
I'm now 21- I started on finasteride (daily) on March 2nd, 2017 (19 y/o). To begin with, I combined this with minoxidil (5%) 2x per day. However, my hairloss had only begun to affect my right temple and, after 1 year of use...
I've been on Minoxidil a little over three months and propecia a little over two. I've not seen any major regrowth yet but thought I'd publish these photos in the hope that you might see some slight regrowth that I haven't!
(Image with lime green background was before treatment began)
Thanks...
I've been on it for nearly 2 months, and after about 3-4 days I noticed a MASSIVE increase in sex drive. I tried ruling out other things but my diet, gym routine etc... has stayed consistent so I doubt it's to do with that. I've not been on any other medication either.
At first I thought it was...
I have suffered from extreme anxiety and moderate/severe depression for over 7 years. Finasteride has had absolutely no effect on either disorder, I do not believe it really has any influence.
After 1 month on minoxidil I had not noticed any shedding on my right temple (the only place where the recession has occurred, sitting at about a norwood 1.5-2). Within the last week (So roughly 3 weeks after beginning finasteride 1mg daily) I have noticed intense shedding on the right temple...
Sorry for the delayed response here.
It's natural to feel depressed about it, the thing is to remember that hairloss affects most men at some stage. If you try your best to stick with a treatment formula that suits you, you'll start to notice more and more that your friends around you are...
