Thanks Bryan. I understand that, but since it isn't engineered for hair loss, I didn't know if that dosage was for prostate use, and perhaps a different dosage is typically suggested for hair loss. There are many bio-chemists on this site (some self-proclaimed) that suggest a "typical" dosage...
Can I get some clarification....there has been so many different dosage recommendations thrown around regarding dutasteride on this site....what IS the typical dosage for .5mg dutasteride? I get dutasteride legit from my Doctor, since I have a familial chain of prostate cancer, and the script instructions are "1 capsule...
What I gather from everything said here is that finasteride, since it goes after the type 2 enzyme, is more effective than dutasteride?
I'm going into my 2nd year on dutasteride, and don't see any better results from when I used propecia.
Holy sh#t HT55, if I had your hair problems I wouldn't even be on here. You've got a great head of hair. You're like one of those skinny model chicks that thinks they're fat. I'm jealous.
Seriously? Everything I read says there's no difference in results with the foam. How do you apply it. Just put it on and let it sit, rub it in? My buddy puts it on with the applicator and then takes a hair brush and massages his scalp for a few minutes....says it stimulates the...
I'm 34. My loss was halted while I was on Propecia. But now it seems to have progressed since I've been on Avodart. I'm thinking of switching back, but I'm not sure if there are any adverse affects or cons in doing so. Any info on that?
Oh....ha...thought I'd been missing something this whole time.
Yeah, I was on Propecia for a couple/few years, and now been on Avodart for a year or so. Since Avodart my loss has gotten progressively worse, especially the past couple of months.
I take dutasteride (Avodart), minoxidil, and use nizoral 3 days a week. Every day shampoo and conditioner is Pantene Thick and Full. My loss is getting increasingly worse, particularly over the past few weeks, its been very noticeable. I'd say it looks like I lost more in the past couple of months than I have...
I was on Propecia for a few years with moderate success...little increased loss. I switched to Avodart, and have been taking it for about a year now, maybe more (not sure bc my memory is terrible now). My loss is without a doubt worsening. I doubt that my shed phase is this long.
Has anyone...
In my research here I'm also not seeing much about years down the road after the hair transplant. If my head gets to the point over time to be a NW7, there surely is not enough donors. Will the head be left looking like a NW7 with a patch of (transplanted hair) from the hair line and trailing back to...
