Nizoral can be harsh too...it was for me..i shed a lot when i was on it. Add a good conditioner after shampoo because conditioner help soothing of hairs

Just to add i don't use 1 ml only...i apply like 3-4 ml in a go to cover much of the scalp :firing:

Though Senior members here can give better reply, but as per my knowledge if finasteride is not working for you than you can add Minoxidil in your regime. You can also talk to your doctor about increasing dosage of finasteride or switching to dutasteride.

Yeah i have been compliant...but some times you can't help but miss. Though i never been off it for more then a week. I applied once at night. Can't apply in the morning because i have to go to office and as my hair is diffuse thinning...the alcohal or foam sticks my hair in all weird shape.

Yeah it really helped. I own my hairs to it. I am a diffuse thinner...so thinning is all over the scalp. Minoxidil is doing its job but so do male pattern baldness although slowly. I never included antiandrogen in my regime because i was happy what minoxidil was doing and as i am a diffuse thinner so a good shampoo...

I have only minoxidil 5% in my regime...and it helped a lot. I guess i stretched my hair life 3 years more after starting it. Though it has not stopped thinning but sure it is pushing slowly dying hairs roots to bloom. Planning on adding topical anti androgen either CB or Fluridil.

Have you quit Fluridil ? I was planning to start on it. How was your experience ?
