Quit spironolactone: Painful Hair Follicles; Massive Hair Loss On Hairline

I was using wholesale health something (can't remember?) spironolactone when the problem arose. The gourmetstylewellness.com spironolactone was great. Never had any issues with it at all although I'm not sure if it did anything?.

Quit spironolactone: Painful Hair Follicles; Massive Hair Loss On Hairline

Actually by it was only by using hydrocortisone that I managed to shift the soreness/itchy scalp! I have seen some old posts online that other users saw very strong regrowth on their temples using hc, however for obvious reasons long-term use of this is best avoided. All this aside, I imagine...

Quit spironolactone: Painful Hair Follicles; Massive Hair Loss On Hairline

I've desperately been trying to keep my hairline stable for the last two years through the use of higher strength minoxidil (10% from Rapid Solns) and .5% dutasteride. I was using spironolactone from here until supply stopped and acquired some from an independent supplier but stopped using it as I developed a...

Reducing Inflammation: Folligen & Other Anti-inflammatories

Oh really? Kind of wish I hadn't purchased TWO of them now. I did find the EMU oil helped to reduce the itching caused by Minoxidil/dry scalp/male pattern baldness itch but it was greasy as hell (obviously).

Reducing Inflammation: Folligen & Other Anti-inflammatories

I recently purchased Folligen to try and curb the itchiness on my hairline that is invariably caused by male pattern baldness reasoning that any treatment is going to be more effective if I can curb inflammation first. When I applied this this other night however my scalp felt practically on fire?! Just...

RU for Hairline - Only Remaining Option

Hi All, Update from me about a year on from addition dutasteride and dropping finasteride from my regimen; I am still on nizoral 2x a week, 0.5mg dutasteride EOD, spironolactone on hairline at night and 10% minoxidil with AA everyday twice a day. Unfortunately, despite ALL of the f*cking above, my hairline continues to get worse...

    My hair is getting worse?

Did you use the premixed stuff or make your own? I'm considering RU and buying the premixed as essentially (hair transplants aside) its the only option I have left! I have RU.. I think I tried it for about a month and didn't see anything.. it may work but its such a hassle.. might get back on...

    My hair is getting worse?

Mate, Your hairline is exactly the same as mine and I did the same. No joke, finasteride did f*ck all for me and during this time my hairline significantly worsened! I am on dutasteride now however even on this there is absolutely nothing promising coming through...i am very, very close to having to do...

    Quitting dutasteride - help

So after being on literally everything to try and sustain my hairline (I posted a while back on what my regimen consists of) and having watched it go from acceptable to a fuc*ing horseshoe shape now I have to admit defeat. dutasteride, finasteride, spironolactone and minoxidil and nothing has halted my receding hairline...
