You need to stabilise the loss before you get a transplant. Or at least slow it to a point where you're losing very little, else you'll just end up needing another transplant later and using up all your donor supply too early.
The thickness & density is just the same as my last update. 1 year post op for me was when it reached peak. The only difference is it's straighter now.
Hm not so sure about this. I've been on it for nearly 6 years, which comes up to about £2,190. Though, that's because I refuse to take anything but the branded version.
I went with Erdogan, and am very happy with the results. I have made a thread about it.
I had my transplant over 2 days, and there were 4 each day. Erdogan only did the incisions by himself, with his staff doing the extraction and implantation, but he would come and check at ~hourly intervals...
This will be my final update. Hair still great, sides & back are much more manageable than before as they used to be stupidly thick. So 2 in 1. One thing to note is, they transplanted some curly hair from the sides into the top (where the hair is straight), which grew back curly for a while and...
So... 1 year update, with slightly wet hair.
This is when I have deliberately tried to part it to reveal thinner areas:
Pretty difficult to reveal thin area's these days, even when I try...
This is what it looks like normally:
Notice the hair is darker in the transplanted areas. That's...
Sorry for late update, I'll give an update with photo's tomorrow after my shower with wet hair, as thats what the original pics are.
I have pretty much forgotten about hair altogether after the 6 month mark, but it carried on getting thicker even up to now, and it is almost annoyingly thick now...
It was for the surgery, surgeons ask you to stop using it between 2-4 weeks prior to surgery, I stopped it 3 weeks before. They also advice not to use it for about a month after too, but my scalp was really itchy and irritable for abour 2 months after so I stopped using it for longer, along with...
I quit minoxidil for 4 months so I lost all my minoxidil hairs, and I am a very good responder to it. A similar thing happened before when I quit it for 5 months, so combine it with shock loss from a hair transplant, I'm not suprised the 1.5 - 3 month pics look so bad. Also yes I'm 26... 27 in a month. I have a...

4 months 1 week
Left temple is doing significantly better than right temple. Virtually all hairs fell out from right temple before regrowth started, but 10%+ of left temple survived. No idea how hair follicles are supposed to survive such an ordeal without shedding... they are...
Day 52
It's exactly what i expected it to be at this point given i quit minoxidil nearly 3 months ago... i.e. worse than pre-transplant. I am still getting itching. One interesting thing is I haven't had a single headache since the transplant which is very unusual for me, they used to come every...
