    I can tell you that I used Dr. Reddy's for at least 6 months. After shedding noticeably I switched back to Propecia, Merck branded. I don't know why and I doubt it is psychological, but the difference was very noticeable. Unfortunately Merck branded Propecia just skyrocketed - I have no idea...

    Finasteride for $9.00 at Walmart Pharmacy!

    Does the generic finasteride work? The finasteride I got from Walgreens - which is now $220 (crazy) doesn't work as well as the Merck Branded Propecia. I don't know what the difference is but it is extremely noticeable once I switched from Walgreens Generic aka Dr. Reddy's.

    Question on the application of Minoxidil and it's effectiveness

    I've found minoxidil to have the same effect as you. I don't think it works for some people and there is a rotating hair issue in terms of hairs shedding at the same time. I've found it better not to use it than using it and getting off of it and using another alternative (like finasteride) better...
