The spironolactone that I get from Dr. Lee is a liquid, but it is only 2%. His 5% is a gel and I didn't know if there was a 5% liquid available.
If anyone knows, please let me know.
I just added revivogen to my regimen. Even though I'm using avodart for DHT, I thought a little added protection wouldn't hurt. Nonetheless, I put on my minoxidil and folligen in the morning and then revivogen at noon. By the time night rolls around I've got a crust on my scalp that Ron Jeremy...
Try the big three first:
Propecia
5% Minoxidil (or xandrox)
Nizoral Shampoo
things that you might consider in addition to this would be:
Tricomin or folligen
I think that the majority of people who start this regimen before hairloss gets out of control have great results.
I'm going on 6 months now with the avodart and so far, no side effects  . I would guess that if any negative effects were to occur, I would have seen them by now, but I could be wrong. I'll find out some day.

Sorry nesta, I disagree. I think that once you stop the miniaturation process, the follicle can sustain a larger hair in length and diameter. Propecia not only stops miniaturization, but also increases hair counts in the majority of men who use it, I would guess that spironolactone would do have the...

Which is the more proven product between revivogen and spironolactone. I known that they both claim to inhibit scalp DHT, but which one works better at doing so.
Shouldn't .5 mg Avodart when added to a topical DHT inhibitor like revivogen or spironolactone be just as effective as 2.5 mg Avodart.
I only ask because in the FDA trials, the 2.5 regrew more hair than the .5, but the only difference between the two doses is that the 2.5 blocks more scalp DHT.
I'm 22 and started losing my hair at about 18 (I'm about a norwood 2 now). I started finasteride & minoxidil a year and a half ago then switched to avodart, minoxidil, folligen, lasercomb, nizoral about 6 months ago. Now I have thin hairs about 1-2 inches long all along my hairline where my hair used to be...
the general consensus that I'm getting from most of the threads I have read is that lasercomb sucks, but I have to say that this product has made me shed worse than anythig else, even avodart and minoxidil. I'm hoping that this is just a sign that its working, but I don't know. Has anyone else had...
In my opinion, you need propecia for sure, you could even do avodart if you can afford it (both inhibit DHT, avodart just works alot better). 5% minoxidil should help to regrow what you have lost in you temple, but it will take 6months to a year so stick with it. Finally, you need to use 1 or...
What works better, the 2 or the 5% spironolactone. Ive read that the 2% is in liquid form, which to me sounds more convenient, while the 5% is a lotion. I would like to use the 2% for ease of application, but not if it doesnt work as well.
