I used minoxidil continuously for about eight months and stopped about 1.5 months ago. Do you think I will still be seeing a shed, and if so why?

Thx for your concern, but how long after stopping minoxidil does the shedding typically occur? I have been off minoxidil for close to 1.5 months now and there has been no real shedding phase as of yet. I still notice the new hairs that have popped up in the temples and hairline growing.

If you want an alternative to Propecia that is topical and will help block DHT, then try Revivogen. For me, I am noticing (1+ months after stopping minoxidil) reduced hair loss and definite regrowth in the temples and hairline.

Well, you are entitled to your opinion. I believe that if you are a diffuse NW3+ then Revivogen may have less efficacy. Thanks for the advice, but I don't want anything to do with minoxidil anymore due to its side effects. Won't Revivogen protect hairs that were regrown using minoxidil, in addition to the new growth I've seen and cessation of hair loss?

After just under one month using only Revivogen, 2 mL every night, I am seeing numerous new small black hairs popping up in my temples and front-center of my hairline. I am a NW2 with some diffuse thinning. Obviously I cannot observe regrowth in areas where there is already dense hair coverage...

You are correct about this - I have observed similarly. Also, smoking affects almost everything negatively - hair loss if so predisposed, is no different
