I want to buzz my head tonight, I'm thinking with a number 4 razor. It's only been a week and a half since my surgery though. All the scabs are pretty much gone. My doner area is still a bit tender, I was wondering if the scar would show up at that razor level.
Well swelling is no more, there was only slight swelling anyway the first few days. And the redness is gone and most of the scabs have disappeared. There's still a few scabs visable but they should be gone by this weekend hopefully. I get the staples out this friday! :)
Well, I just took my first shower with the special shampoo. Man I was nervous going anywhere near the grafts. Here's a pic. The grafts go up a little farther on my right temple area than my left.

Thank you for the encouragement. I hope that propecia can help with the thinning in the back. But I'm going ahead with the surgery for the temple area. I'll ask Dr. Epstien if there will be enough grafts left over to strenghten the hairline in the back. This site has been a big help. :)

Here's a pic. I did when my hair was wet so you can see the thinning in the back. Though when dry the back isn't noticable. Would an 1100 graft procedure be enough?
I've been on propecia now for 3 months. The cost per month and loss in libido is somewhat irritating though. I was thinking about trying just the .5 of propecia a day.
I'll get some pics up tonight. The more I look at my hair (mainly when it's wet) there's a general thinness all in my scalp. Would 1100 grafts be enough to strenghth the existing hairline. I would say I'm at a Norwood 3. I know pics would help better with this question. :)
I have an appointment with Dr. Epstien for 1100 grafts this Friday. I'm getting a bit nervous, mainly dealing with the events afterward. Will people notice, will I need another surgery, stuff like that. I took off of work until next Wednesay, I'm hoping by then it won't be as noticable. :-/
