I got a red rash right under the hairline. There were tons of little pimples, with dry red skin. I tried both the rogaine foam and dr.lees minoxidil and had the same reaction to both. I thought the foam didnt contain ppg...The strange thing is i never had problems in my previous years using...

Has there been any studies done on whether the cream penetrates as well as his 2% alcohol mixture? I started the 5% a few weeks ago and I seem to be shedding (I have never really shed from anything before, inclduing minoxidil). is it even worth it? I have been thinking of trying finasteride again, but at a smaller dose in hopes of keeping side effects minimal. Would 1 or 2 mg a week be even slightly helpful. I am hoping that lowering dht internally even a little could be beneficial? ANy info appreciated. Thanks, Desar
