Yes that is what im using, mine is adjustable depth. But same thing. Yeah I understand wounding might be easier with a roller. However I have using a roller my hair gets caught in the wheel and the odd one gets pulled out which I dont like.
I guess I stamp quite often to make up for it. But...
There are examples on this thread that show impressive results just with needling.
Unrelated but I never had any shedding with the regime. I know some suggest an initial shed with minoxidil.
no itching or scalp irritation despite heavy sometimes daily wounding.
No, I did nothing to my hair before hair transplant.
you are correct I cannot say if needling or minoxidil is responsible for my gains. I’ve only got my gut feel to go by.
Id like to add my success story after almost 2years of needling.
I have a thread here if you look after about 6 months after a hair transplant at asmed and needling + minoxidil. IT really works. There is some photos there.
I have been needling with a derma stamp 1-7 times a week. Applying 2ml of minoxidil in...
Pleased to help.
If you look at the blurry pic where you can see mostly my phone. That was about month 2. You can see my natural hairline (already a bit better because of rogaine). You can see the hair transplant just starting to appear. So sounds like your the same.
No issues at all with daily derma...
Definately not mandatory. I never took it results are good.
Surgeons want you to get on it and will fool you into thinking it’s mandatory.
They do this as it’s more likely you’ll have better hair, more likely you’ll be happier with your hair - post better pictures and ultimately make them...
If you can afford it, I don’t see the point in waiting till your hair slowly recedes to a certain point.
My hairline is better then it’s ever been. My only regret is waiting till 37. Why watch your hair have a slow painful death knowing you’ll have a hair transplant eventually. Get the hair transplant upfront and...
Thanks very much. No finasteride as I suffer from depression and not worth it for me.
Rogaine works fantastic for me, so it’s hard to say exactly what the transplant has done. The front cm is the only area which is new and is a bit thin but makes a good natural look when styled. hair transplant can look...
I appreciate your comments. I also suffer from chronic depressive episodes though. Hate the way a few pictures can mate people think life is perfect. But yeah I got good hair for now. I’d drop all my hair for happiness though!
Hello,
Wanted to post my experience and results. I’ve had fantastic results with rogaine and microneedling and have created another post detailing this. Well worth a read.
My experience with Asmed was great and identical to everyone else’s on here so I won’t repeat.
The only thing I felt...
Hello,
I wanted to post and give something back.
I’m 37, my hair has slowly been thinning mostly through my thirties. I’ve always had a big head and big forehead with a widows peak even as a baby. Recent years my hairline started to retreat and my vertex thinning. I’m a little bit vein so it...
