Applying toppik makes my hair look dull and lifeless. What styling products do you use after applying toppik to make your hair look less dull??

Do you use any styling product after applying toppik like hair spray or hair gel? My hair tends to be dull and lifeless after applying toppik,I just want it to not look dull. Do you have any styling advice to share?

I think a fake toppik exist on ebay. it's really cheap,but the product is not good at all..
