Kintor Pharma Announces Successful Completion of Phase II Clinical Trial of KX-826 for Treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia in the US

We'll need to wait til the publication of the study; there were adverse events, but none that caused anyone to drop out of the trial. We don't know yet what kind of side effects those were.

Published in Nature: Weekly treatment with SAMiRNA targeting the androgen receptor ameliorates androgenetic alopecia

If the price gouging is too bad on third party sites, you can set up an address in the UK/Europe that will forward mail to the US for relatively cheap. It's more cost-efficient if you buy a bunch at once, and only get gouged on shipping. Better than getting gouged on the full price over and over...

Supposedly CosmeRNA goes on sale in Europe this week. Probably Brotzu 2.0 but we'll see.

"Bayer/Hope Medical Trial for Androgenetic Alopecia" - crosspost

In the chimps, 6 months of treatment led to four years of results. We'll have to wait to see how humans respond, but "repeat at least every couple of months" seems unlikely. Maybe during an initial course of treatment.

Breezula update 2022 June apparently they are doing trials very soon

According to the studies, CB stops working after 6 months, so any results are temporary

It does work, the problem which you can see in their phase II is that it causes HPA axis side effects. If you're going to risk that, just use finasteride instead.

Depends on the person, some people are great responders to finasteride. Doesn't seem like that is the case SAMiRNA or we would have seen it in the pictures.

Sorry, edited for clairy as you replied. I'm a diffuse thinner so it's hard to define the Norwood exactly but yes I think 1.5-2 Norwoods is about accurate

That makes sense, but I am one of the people who gets a lot of regrowth with finasteride, it isn't a maintenance drug for me. Unfortunately it comes with side effects I'm not willing to tolerate. If SAMiRNA is strictly for maintenance, I will pass. Maintenance is better than nothing, but not...

Looking back at the literature on this one, it's hard to deny that the photos from the study show almost no progress, even though the numbers seem good. I'm having trouble understanding this discrepancy.

New Topical Finasteride from Dr. Victor Hasson (SiloxysSystem)

I may have been quick to judge. Here is the patent: https://data.epo.org/publication-server/document?iDocId=6634689&iFormat=0 Looks like the vehicle is PEG mixed with a polysilsesquioxane film.

New Topical Finasteride from Dr. Victor Hasson (SiloxysSystem)

I wonder if they have a patent, honestly. They are probably using an off-the-shelf solution that is, incidentally, patented by a pharmaceutical company, which makes the statement "patented nano-particle gel technology" technically true, even if they want it to sound like something that isn't...
