You need to clarify. You say you switched from liquid to foam and then you say that you only use the foam once per day (is this in addition to liquid once per day or by itself?) You say the spots go away after you apply Rogaine, but you don't say which type (foam or liquid) or how long it takes...

Just fill a basin with warm water, spray some foam in the cap, and dip the cap in the warm water.

I used to think it was just residue as well. That's why I ignored it for so long (about 3-4 years). I had to wear a hat all the time, just because of the flakes - even though my hair was still really thick back then. But my scalp was also itchy and red and started to get these big fleshy...

Just try it, man! The guy in the thread you linked to obviously had a bad reaction but it doesn't mean you will. I used to wash with Nizoral every other day but for the past couple of years upped it to every day and my hair's looking thicker than ever (touch wood)

Yeah, it's fine. And it's a lot easier to apply when it's a liquid. It might be a problem if you keep it warm all the time (or constantly warm it and cool it), but I only do one application at a time. When you think about it, it's only what happens on your head anyway. It's not like I make it...

I've just ordered some Genhair PPG-free minoxidil from the shop here (gourmetstylewellness.com/shop) I definitely remember hearing good things about Genhair from back when I was more active on HLH, but I stuck with Dr Lee. I suppose now he's not around... I tried Kirkland before but it was soooooo greasy...

Thanks for the reply Bryan. I considered making a separate keto topical but I'd rather mix it in with the minoxidil to save on application time. I suppose I could see how I react to the eBay stuff, but that would only prove that they didn't contain PPG, not that they actually contained any...

But can anyone vouch for it? The "medical grade" thing sounds a bit snake-oily and there are similar products on eBay for a fraction of the price. I want to know which *liquid* PPG-free minoxidil can actually be trusted...

Have you tried melting the foam (warming it up in a container)? It makes it a lot easier to apply and it seems to work better than any liquid solution I've tried.

Hey Bryan, thanks for the reply. I'm on the foam already but I'm looking for a liquid PPG-free minoxidil so I can add ketoconazole to it. I've seen a few PPG-free solutions on eBay but I have no idea if they're legit... Also, what do you think about adding keto?
