Are you taking oral finasteride/dutasteride + oral minoxidil (vs. one or the other)?

Appreciate the feedback. What's the dosage of the oral dutasteride & oral minoxidil separately? Any side effects?

Hi Gents, My company, Maximus, is doing research into offering an oral prescription hair loss treatment to compliment our existing Latanoprost-based topical treatment (Warrior Protocol) that has minimal systemic side effects. For those who want DHT inhibition (or just want the convenience of a...

It's...

New Latanoprost-Based Formula Used by Hollywood Celebrities

Hi GourmetStyleWellness Members, Wanted to follow-up on the crowdsourced solution I've been working on thanks to all of your input (starting a new thread here, original one was Holy Grail Formula for reference). Intro: I'm a clinician/scientist who runs a telemedicine company, Maximus, that offers...

We're trying not to have multiple versions right now to keep things simple. What's the downside with tretinoin at 0.01%?

Updated formulation, appreciate feedback. We can only use OTC ingredients from this FDA-approved list, so had to simplify a bit. Latanoprost at the 0.1% used in the original studies is very expensive, so the following formulation would probably have to be $149/month. We could get it down to...

    - Thanks for the tip on Darolutamide. Anecdotally, seems to have some anti-androgenic side effects, which is concerning: https://www.gourmetstylewellness.com/interact/threads/starting-darolutamide-today-update-every-two-weeks.110253/ - Thanks for the heads up on CB (clascoterone)'s recent FDA approval...

    - Cetirizine has a molecular weight of 388, and Desloratadine 311, so according to the 500 Dalton rule, they have the possibility of being absorbed past the corneal layer. Probably going to skip these unless people really want it and are willing to risk systemic absorption. - Duasteride's...

Cetirizine 1% was mentioned twice. I've only seen one study on it, which was positive, but methologically problematic. Any positive anecdotal results from users? Is there any indication it can go systemic? 1% is 10mg, which is the same as the oral dose to control allergies.

We can't use ingredients like RU that are not FDA-approved for at least some purpose, or are GRAS/supplements. I'm a bit concerned about using corticosteroids like hydrocoritsone in terms of what they do like skin atrophy. Will see if we can use Methyl Vanillate 0.2%.

    The original study used 500µM Sandalore. This is how you convert it: 500µM is short for 500µMol/L, the molaric mass of Sandalore is ~210 g/Mol So 500µMol/L * 210g/Mol = 105000 µg/L = 105 mg/L = 0.105 g/L = 0.105 mg/ml, which is a concentration of only 0.01%. The patent however cites 0.1-10%...

would it be possible to offer a solution that contains finasteride and another than doesn't? - Possibly. Though it would be at 0.01% to minimize possibility of systemic DHT supression. You should really consider adding Methyl Vanillate 0.2%. Cheap, natural and can increase WNT levels with...

Wanted to provide an update and get feedback on the latest formula: - Decided to forgo the finasteride (even at 0.01%) because if it scares consumers away from using it, then that's no good. - I've seen azalaic acid concentrations from 0.025-12.5% used (mostly between 1.5-5%), so it's hard to...

    1) We're formulating a daily topical, so if duasteride can't be used daily due to it's long half-life and elimination, then we should probably not include it. 2) Can you share any anecdotes about topical finasteride causing side effects even at microdoses like 0.01% (NOT 0.1%). This is 0.1...

Thanks for the suggestions. 1) Do you know if topical caffeine absorbs systemically? A lot of patients are sensitive to it. 2) We can't use drugs like Fluridil that aren't FDA approved, but we could use Flutamide if that's interesting? 3) Thanks for the studies. Herbal ingredients like Licorice...
