Cowlicks are janky in general especially if you have fine hair (not balding, just skinnier hair strands from birth), but wet cowlicks always look like sh*t, so I can't really tell; try with dry hair. If you want peace of mind go see a derm.
Every drug has the potential of side effects. I was 18 when I first started finasteride and I'm fine. You could start with a low dose, like half a dose, and go from there, see how you tolerate the drug. Chances are you'll be fine.
You again? You seem to have body dysmorphia. Please seek a psychologist/psychoterapist for help because it is clearly hurting you. I'm not kidding or making jokes, this is legitimately worrying.
I don't have personal experience with crown hairloss, but I've seen quite a lot of crown regrowth from other people on finasteride. If there is any regrowth, chances are it's gonna be at the crown.
Remember, give it enough time to work before drawing any conclusions. Personally I got decent...
It does look like a little bit of thinning. It's sometimes hard to distinguish crown thinning from simple cowliks (i.e. whorls), but it does look a bit too pronounced to just brush it up to a cowlick. But it's good because it's in the early stages!
what can I say, the only thing I can recommend...
doesn't look like it. He probably asked if you're on treatments because some people are on a hair loss drug, then it doesn't work anymore. But imo your hair looks very good and I don't see a reason to worry about receding/thinning.
