i used to be in the same position, bought myself some clippers and got used to cut my own hair years ago. also got a transplant which pretty much put my crippling depression at bay. i understand that i am in this on borrowed time, but i really hope i dont ever get back to where i was.

Think it was one week for me, but it wasnt like i had to let it stay for a week before even touching it. More like after 7days all the scabs had to be gone. So i washed my my hair everyday according to their instructions and on day 7 there were just a tiny bit left which i kind of had to force...
Not everyone can pull of the shaved look, i remember giving it a go and just be done with it. thought it would be nice to quit treatments and coverup games.

get on treatments if you care to halt the hairloss.
this isnt some infection or the cause of wearing snapbacks, it's 100% male pattern baldness.
if you get a transplant right now it will be the biggest mistake of your life.
