Honestly don't think minoxidil is necessary at this stage. Trial finasteride for 8 months then start minoxidil if you're dissatisfied. A shampoo isn't going to do much for you. I even dropped nizoral due to the negative impact it was having on my hair. If you want a DHT blocker with less sides than you have to look into experimental topicals like RU and CB
