The thing that really has me scared is not only is my hair twice as bad as before I started, but now I have rapid miniaturization and kinked hairs ALL over my head and I've read that these thick kinked/wire-y/pubic looking hairs are what precede male pattern baldness. I never had these kinked hairs before finasteride...

So I've been on finasteride for about 5 months and a half months. I had an initial shed for the first 4 months, slowed down for about a month and now for the last few weeks I'm shedding like crazy again. I've seen no regrowth at all, just thinner than ever especially at my crown and temples...

Should have put this in the Tell Your Story Section or whatever it is. But you have pretty advanced diffuse thinning it's doubtful you'll get it back without finasteride.

It could be stress induced but for an 8 year old to be stressed is unheard of. It'll grow back though. But there must be something you're not telling us because I don't buy it that the school treats your child like that for no reason.
