Scar touch up, 6 week update.
The scar faded further and I had it touched up 6 weeks ago.
I am very happy with how it looks now and will be thrilled if it stays like this.
Touch up.
6 weeks.

Update 15 days after 2nd session.
Just took these pics after my haircut. The scar is looking much better but I think it'll need another session, I don't think too many people get away with just two sessions in the scar. They can really suck up the ink.
The SMP in my crown does a good job of...
Hey everyone!
I've had permanent SMP at HIS Hair in Manchester with Danny on Thurs 20 March and Thurs 27 March 2014. Both sessions lasted 2-3 hours and went great, Danny is a top bloke.
He used shade 32 on the scar and 30 in the crown for session one. And 30 for both in session two.
I'm...
Cheers. Of course I'm biased but you have made a great choice.
My hairline matured from juvenile to a Norwood 2 when I was about 19yo and has been the same ever since. Now I am nearly 33yo.
I am pretty sure that only my crown is going to be affected by the male pattern baldness gene and my hairline will be the...
I am 12 months post op now and just have a few more months until it fully matures. I am keeping it very short until then and these pics are one week out from a buzz cut number 3 all over. I am thrilled with how it looks.
Cheers pal. If you look at the pre ops from 2008 you will see I still had some native hair in my crown. I have now lost this which is why it looks thinner. But I wanted to go further down the back of my crown and add density anyway.
The result from my first hair transplant produced what most people get from...
Cheers Travis. But if I would have had a choice I would rather have lost my hairline than crown. I think hairlines are easier to replace and need far less grafts than crowns.
I think it is shock loss which you can see in some scar pics which is quite common and returns when the scar has healed.
Happy New Year!
I am nearly 8 months post op now and I have grown my hair out a bit.
These pics are with wet hair and then some with gel in after. I am very happy with how it looks but I know there is more to come. I remember from my first hair transplant that it took ages to fully mature, past the one...
Cheers guys.
Spidey,
I have above average donor density and excellent scalp laxity. I reckon at least another 5000 grafts with just strip and more with FUE.
See 8 month update below.
Cancel and do a lot more research! Twenty one is a bit young for hair transplant surgery. If you go through with this I'm pretty sure you will live to regret it.
I am still taking Finasteride and I am just finishing off the last of my Regaine. I will probably stop the Regaine when it has gone. But I do believe it helps to kick start the growth of the grafts.
It is a risk for anyone to get a hair transplant. But getting one without taking meds means more of a risk...
Thanks for clarifying that unoor. I'm not sure I would be comfortable not having a fully trained hair transplant Surgeon working on me. I'm not saying she isn't capable though. Good luck with your results.
Cheers pal, I am thrilled with the results of my hair transplants. A few years ago I thought it would never be possible for me have a full head of hair again.
Dr. Rahal requests that patients don't have a hair cut 6 weeks prior to surgery. He can then see how your hair grows and lays. He will then shave the...
