Chest Pain (is this just anxiety?)

minoxidil did seem to be the problem, after a week the chest pain went away. Been taking finasteride for 10 days now, after 7 days i started getting ball ache, joy.

i told my girl about my hairloss

My girlfriend doesn't think i am losing my hair at all and said it hasn't changed since the day i met her (which was 4 years ago). I know that ultimately the only person that has a problem with my hair is me and i think that is the case with most people. I mean in all honesty how much attention...

Chest Pain (is this just anxiety?)

Just got back from the doctors with regards to the chest pain. She said it is unlikely to be the minoxidil, although it is possible. So i have to stop taking it for a week or so to see if the chest pains go away. They got really bad yesturday, but she said the pain is due to muscle contraction...

    retin-a or azelic acid?

Yeah, i am dropping the AA and switching to finasteride by the end of the month anyway. If i can't tolerate finasteride I can always switch back to AA again. That current AA+minoxidil solution cost me £250 for 6 months supply (£45 per month) from a medical clinic in the UK, which is well...

    retin-a or azelic acid?

Take a look at these results after 4 months on only Azelic Acid + minoxidil. Not ground-breaking, but there may be a bit of an improvement perhaps ...

Chest Pain (is this just anxiety?)

I should really keep going with the minoxidil i know. I'm just worried incase this stuff is putting unnecessary strain on my heart. I'll go see my GP next week and see what they say. I'll keep using it for the time being, because if it isn't the underlying cause and I stop the minoxidil, then it will...

Chest Pain (is this just anxiety?)

I've been using minoxidil for coming on 5 months now and for the last 2 of those months i have been experiencing a dull chest pain. It comes and goes, but it is most noticable at night. I get quite worried about my hair/treatments and it can become quite stressful. I mean i woke up this morning...

    Good results after 6 months

you would think that wouldn't you? But in fact proscar is 5mg finasteride, whereas finasteride for hair loss, i.e. propecia is FDA approved at 1mg. I would in no way recommend anyone take 5mg, since that is the dose required to treat prostate cancer. Sorry if i caused you any confusion JayMan, but nice...

    Good results after 6 months

I'm not saying Revivogen is stronger or even comes close to finasteride. But it does help block DHT even if not to the extent finasteride does. Even if it doesn't stop your hair loss it is helping slow it down and combined with minoxidil is helping improve you chances of maintaining. I also have no...

    Good results after 6 months

I don't use Revivogen, nor am i trying to push it. But you claimed that Scuzz was not tackling the problem of DHT when in fact he was. I make no assumptions about the products I use but instead rely upon information from reliable sources of research and upon advice from recognised...

    Good results after 6 months

Yeah, that's great advice, stuff your body full of a drug that may have long-term side effects and has not been properly tested! You may have a full head of hair in 10 years time, but you may just as well have a head full of brain damage to go along with it. And for your information...

    Good results after 6 months

Dude, you hair looks great in the December pic, keep that cut and everything! A huge improvement since day 1, congratulations! Also don't look into the flash shots too much, hair generally tends to reflect a lot of light, so it makes it look a hell of a lot worse than it actually is. Also...

    emo's story - (w/pics)

hmm, i find it difficult to see how you can say it was ineffective if you saw no results after 2 months. From what i have read you should give finasteride at least a year before you dismiss it completely, so i am assuming the same would hold true for azaleic acid? I'm going to run my treatment for at...

    emo's story - (w/pics)

How long did you use azaleic acid for? Also have you seen any noticable improvements since using finasteride or dutasteride? Showing a picture when i had dreads probably doesn't do me any favours, since it does make my hair look a hell of a lot thicker. But agreed, i have lost quite a bit over the last two...

    emo's story - (w/pics)

I'm in my early twenties and have been losing hair very gradually for the last 2-3 years. It hasn't been until the last six months that I looked in the mirror and thought 'right, i better do something about this, because it is starting to become more noticable'. So like most people here, i...
