What does it feel like to be on finasteride?

finasteride raises total T and lowers free T, but that doesn't tell the whole story because the sum of free T and T that is bound to albumin is considered 'bioavailable'. It's not uncommon for free T to actually be too high relative to total T, especially in people that start balding at a young age...

What does it feel like to be on finasteride?

Finasteride use does result in lower free testosterone relative to total testosterone. If your on-finasteride hormone levels are causing problems it indicates that your baseline levels were low. The good news is this is not normal for young men and can typically be corrected with lifestyle changes.

Why would you have FUE? Based on your most recent pic I don't think anyone could tell that you have male pattern baldness at all!

    Propecia and Peyronie's Disease

What I believe is irrelevant, as is what you believe. If you were able to provide a double blind placebo controlled study that showed higher incidence of Peyronie's Disease for men using Finasteride then that would go a long way to supporting your claims, but such a study does not exist. The...

    Propecia and Peyronie's Disease

What evidence is there that finasteride caused your 'side effects'? Remember that correlation does not imply causation.

Hairline thinning. Just began, can I stop it?

Most cases of male pattern baldness can be stopped by using finasteride, especially when you catch it early.

Do finasteride side effects decrease with age?

Sounds like a good doctor, but you can do all that and still take finasteride - it's what I do. :)

What does it feel like to be on finasteride?

Feels great... I feel like I'm in control of my hair loss. The only side effect I've noticed is watery ejaculate which can be attributed to the drug's effects on my normal sized prostate gland. 25 is a good age to start treatment. Remember to give it at least 6 months to work before judging its...

    Propecia's devastating effect on neurohormones

I have no idea how anyone could consider test results of old men who are taking a high dose of finasteride for BPH to be at all relevant to young men who are taking a lower dose for male pattern baldness. All drugs have the potential for side effects which need to be weighed against their benefits. I have been...
