it has been approved for hair growth... I believe GourmetStyleWellness has a link to the letter sent by the FDA granting this approval. I'm pretty sure that it is approved rather than cleared because it is not a medication but rather a device. Different terminology is used for devices and medications.

If it's cheaper to go to a GP go to them. I went to a Derm. when I first got prescriibed propecia a few years ago...all he did was glance at my hair...gave me a pamphlet and wrote me the script.. It was a 45 minute wait for a 1 minute Derm. visit.

Ok. So eventually haircount will decrease back to the baseline but will you still have more hair at that point in time than you would if you had never used minoxidil? This might be a stupid question but I guess what im asking is does the effectiveness of minoxidil decrease over time or does...
