So my story is now about 9 years old! I've been taking Propecia all this time. My head of hair is still a little diffuse, but I've basically maintained a decent enough head. Now if I could just find my old HDD I could give a 9 year before and after shot!

I'm getting near 6 months of Propecia now, got to say i'm quite happy with the progress so far, not much to report, i've definately not lost any hair, my website died, so i'm currently looking for a new one so i can post some 6th month pics.

I hear that finasteride has been added to the banned list not because it enhances performance, instead it's banned because it can be used to mask other drugs, probably steroidal based ones. i'd like to announce my retirement from olympic competition :)

it's looking good for 3 months treatment, although as you say, the fact that your hair is longer could be playing a part :)

you think there's less hair on the newer pics? i think the lighting is different, and thus it may have made the pictures look worse or do you simply not like the longer hair? :)

3month update ok i'm now 3 months into this. I've also added a Boots own brand version of 1% nizoral shampoo to the equation. I've not noticed many things, except the scalp has stopped being so greasy, which is a good thing :) HOSTING OF PICS CURRENTLY DOWN here are some new pictures...

exactly, for me month 1 i had increased libido, month 2 it just wasn't there at all, and now at the end of month 3, it's all fairly back to normal. one thing i've noticed though it my forehead (and whole scalp) is far far less greasy than it used to be, this is great!!

SLD To be slightly more accurate, DHT binds to Androgen receptors. To my knowledge Androgen receptors are located on the outside of the cells and the binding is thought to illicit some kind of downstream response in the cells themselves. Although DHT can probably transferse cell membranes...

exactly, so after 5 years most men are still above the baseline! they still have more hairs than they started with 5 years previously. and just look at the placebo results, lol, i'm glad i'm on finasteride.

same here and i'm only 25....and johnny's like 42 or something...
