This is the reason I never went in minoxidil. I just tried finasteride which worked super well but too much sides, I had to stop.
Try to play with your hair that are on the upper part of your head sides, they have a better quality.
You're doing the maximum you can right now, you can just wait and see if there is any improvements.
However, I have almost the same hairloss as you, I can advise you to do a short frange to hide it, really efficient in my case!

From my point of view, you can even try to do a surgery without drugs.
At 44, your male pattern baldness is not gonna be agressive as a male pattern baldness of a 20yo.
The tests are gonna be really interesting.
Even if DHT and other androgens are responsible for sure of the hairloss, there are a LOT of other reasons that make our hair fall. Let’s see what happen if we « destroy » the androgens receptors!

I get it, overlooking at 2017 it's true that you can feel easily all the expectations from people suffering from male pattern baldness.
