I'm 27 and single, no girlfiend. But I'm feeling damn good about things now. I've finally found myself and realized I've got a lot going for me and I can be happy with or without hair. I'm probably going to have my bad days but hair loss just doesn't bother me like it use to. And it is so...
Well I've been using spironolactone for over 13 months (5% for 11 mths, 2% for 2 mths) and I've declared it does nothing. I have less hair now than when I started. Perhaps it slowed it down a little, but there is no way to know that for sure. I would much rather have an extra $32 in my pocket every...
My scalp became inflammed in only 2 weeks. Burning, itching, scaling, flaking. I quit after the first 2 weeks and I never used it again and never will. It took weeks for my scalp to return to normal. It's probably the combo of alcohol and alzeic acid that causes the irritation. Dr. Lee says...
I hate to break it to you Tommy but it looks like your going to need a pube transplant. As long as you've got a hairy ***, they should have plenty of donor hair to work with .
Going back to the subject of the thread, nobody knows for sure yet the effect dht has on muscle strength. Testosterone is great for building big hard muscles but some of that benefit may depend on the conversion of T to DHT.
I've been using it for going on 12 months. I haven't noticed any regrowth but I have had maintance using it along with spironolactone.
There's a lot of good evidence supporting the LC but I haven't seen a lot of benefit for myself. It's worth a try I guess, considering it's a one time purchase with...
No way. It's like 90 something % alcohol according to what I've heard. If my scalp couldn't tolerate 2% spironolactone it won't tolerate fluridil either. :(
I don't know what the alcohol content of 2% spironolactone is but it smells like it's pretty high too.
It depends on how long your hair is. Even if your hair is fairly long it's still not that bad, the only down side is it will make your hair look a little greezy. Works much better is your scalp is damp or you have your hair buzzed like mine.
2% spironolactone took about 3 months to cause serious irritation for me, but revivogen only took about 3 weeks. I think it was due to tha azlaic acid though.
I think using 5% spironolactone once a day along with the revivogen may be a good thing.
Green tea is suppose to inhibit 5AR type one. But there is no proof that inhibiting type 1 will help hairloss. Can't hurt to try though, GT is good for other things anyway as mvpsoft said.
