Anyone familiar w Trichotest by Fagron (Genetic Treatment Protocol)

Quite a big task but translated the whole thing. Please see below. So basically Finasteride is not possible due to a negative urologist advice and I will likely be put on oral minoxidil. Further treatments have not been proposed but now that I have read my whole report it seems biotin...

    Topical Dutasteride Case Assessment Thread

Hi Mustang, Pretty new here, but just read through this entire thread. May I ask, are you based in Belgium seeing that you had contact with Dr Mwamba? I am based in Belgium myself so I might be able to get a consultation with him. Would you mind if I PM you to ask your opinion on my case? I am...

Starting finasteride with preknown semen condition?

Topical finasteride is known to go systemic at least to a certain degree. But yeah, I'm kinda screwed.

Where are you losing your hair if I can ask? Predominantly from the top or also sides and back? Be sure to be extra careful with covid around if you're gonna take immunosuppressants. Your body will be in a lesser state in the unfortunate event you got an infection.

I was on topical steroid for about 3 months. It didn't help the redness but I felt my hair growth was better. Not very sure though. It's a feeling. I never tried doxycyxline or oral min. I was proposed hydroxychloroquine but it has effects on your immune system which, with covid around, wasn't...

Yeah, I still have the report but it's not in English so forgive me for a possible bad translation of these medical terms... Around multiple follecular infundibula there is centric fibrosis present and a mild lymfocytair infiltrate. At the follecular interfase there are small lymfocytes. Mild...

Starting finasteride with preknown semen condition?

Currently I was prescribed Finasteride 0.1% in Trichosol solution by Fagron. I see Fagron also has a solution with Dutasteride 0.25% (which seems a lot). I can ask about it. I know lots of people are hyped on topical Dutasteride. How is it working out for you?

Starting finasteride with preknown semen condition?

And what would those be? Are you referring to Zix, topical dutasteride, RU ... of which I read a bit but seem obscure. Thanks for the info. I read too that morphology should be unaffected. But I worry if the morphology is not good to begin with, it still might deteriorate. Sigh. You're right on...

Starting finasteride with preknown semen condition?

Hi guys, My hairloss doctor has prescribed me topical finasteride after a thorough DNA test by Fagron. During that time my hairloss doctor also recommended me to see a urologist to get my semen checked prior to starting finasteride. Now it turns out I have teratospermia in which the quantity is...

Anyone familiar w Trichotest by Fagron (Genetic Treatment Protocol)

Thanks for all the info. I really appreciate it. My hair specialist directed me to a urologist to have my sperm checked prior to starting finasteride (topical). I just received my results and although there are enough sperm cells they aren't the ideal shape so he advises against using...

Anyone familiar w Trichotest by Fagron (Genetic Treatment Protocol)

Hi GRme11, I only got a quick email on the results. I'll get more details later. The email did mention that the aromatase activity was lower than normal. But what does that mean? Can you enlighten me? Thanks!

Anyone familiar w Trichotest by Fagron (Genetic Treatment Protocol)

Hi, I just received my results (by email). I got a summarized version of my doctor : My sulfotransferase is not really active meaning I don't metabolize minoxidil well to its active form. I need a higher dose to have it do anything. 5 alfa reductase 1 no remarks 5 alfa reductase 2 'sped up'...

I actually bought a microscope to check my scalp and I could see that I didn't lose any hair per se, but that my hair is thinner. So finasteride is probably what I need. I'm not sure if I should use oral or check our topical.
