I too just dropped dutasteride 1x / week after being on it for about 1.5 years. Hair shed a lot, receded, miniaturized.
I wonder if it will improve now after just going back to 1.25mg of finasteride or I will lose it all / lose it even faster than with dutasteride.
Is there a general consensus on RU-58841 long-term efficacy? I saw a few reddit threads but the comments were mostly crickets. Some said they saw a few posts on this forum claiming the efficacy tapers off after a few years and it is not longer effective. I would definitely keep it in my stack...
I am curious about making the topical from bicalutamide pills. The usual dosage is 50mg per pill. I tried sourcing pure bica powder, but the minimum orders were like 2 kg!
How does a coffee filter help one to isolate the the pure bicalutamide powder from the filler in a pill?
My thinking is that this would not be effective without an appropriate carrier.
Most topical mixes like RU58841 use alcohol plus a carrier like PPG at a 30/70 ratio in order for proper penetration into the scalp.
Were you taking it daily or just a few times a week? Are you taking anything now like Finasteride?
