I'm in my early 40's, have a steady relationship and am the father of two infants. I can honestly say that my hairloss bothers me almost as much as it used to do before having kids. My goal now is that i want my kids to remember their father, when i am old and bald or long gone, with hair:)
You already know how people will respond to this: 1) ungrease your hair, it's impossible to judge with you style it like that, 2) you're 44 - your hair looks great for age. Not GOAT quality anymore, but nonetheless great.
Yes, it's a fact that the number of eggs women have decreases steadily once women hit their 30's. Still, the vast majority of them don't have problems becoming pregnant (around 50% within six months after trying to conceive) and giving birth to healthy children. Sure, nature has programmed women...
Well, hate to tell you this, but we are not living in the 19th century anymore. Women do want to have a career AND have children nowadays.
Nothing wrong with that - it gives them fulfillment, self-respect and social and financial capital. All of these are beneficial for her children and their...
Seriously, man. I am in my early 40's and have one kid, second on the way. My GF is in her late 30's and doesn't look as hot as the 20 or 30 somethings i used to date when i was younger. But the vast majority of these girls weren't mothers, then - they have become older, too. When women become...
Very true. A lot of girls in their twenties are insecure bed partners and don't have a lot to say. Women in their 30's are much more interesting, in so many ways.
Awesome results!! Thanks for coming back! You prove that it is possible (and worthwhile) to make a solid comeback with your hair whilst being in your 40's.
That makes sense! When i was 24/ 25 i had hair like you and, while being a solid NW1, experienced some thinning on top. Actually, i didn't notice it myself, but two girls i was dating at the time told me so (separately, i must add!). Then i saw it for myself, panicked and went to a...
Your situation on top looks quite similar to my hair when i grow it out (diffuse vertex/ crown thinning). Are you on anything (finasteride, minoxidil?)? Doesn't look too bad yet.
If i were you i would get rid of the parting, cut your hair to 2 or 3 inches and comb it slightly back. It will definitely look...
Yes, that's quite a significant decrease in density that you have experienced (although 'less than 25%' looks very much exaggerated). You went from 'great hair, regardless of your age' to 'good hair for your age'. Some guys - i am one of them - seem to have great hair until their late 30's...
NW3, but the frontal thinning is creeping inwards. You still have time, but i would start treatments now before this gets worse. Finasteride combined with minoxidil and dermarolling should give you a reasonable chance to recover some of the central thinning.
I actually thinks it looks slightly better. I agree with the former poster - you will probably maintain for quite some time with this regime! Adding minoxidil could be an option when things start to go downhill again.
