LLLT -Has anyone on here had success with this? I have an old lasercomb I purchased about 15 years ago that I've hardly used. I joined this site about 16 years ago, and basically stopped doing anything about my hairloss about 12 years ago. I gave up on the comb because at the time the only...
I saw this in Walgreens the other day and was curious about it. It uses saw palmetto and a few other ingredients. Has anyone here tried it?
These are the key ingredients listed on the website:
DHT Blocker Proprietary Blend:
Phytosterol Complex (Soy), Saw Palmetto Extract (Serenoa repens)...
Unfortunately I think its possible it is the minoxidil. I have a couple of wrinkles under my left eye that I swear weren't there before I started this stuff 3.5 months ago. And since minoxidil does inhibit collagen synthesis, it could be possible.
How old are you live?
How do you know it was the minoxidil and not something else? Maybe a change in diet or any number of things? And why are you so sure the damage is permanent?
I'm not here to judge whether its true or not, I'm just looking for more substantial evidence one way or the other.
I've been perusing hair loss discussion forums for several years and occassionally come across minixodil users claiming that minoxidil use has made their facial skin look wrinkled and aged. Having just started minoxidil myself I just thought I'd look into this a little further.
There is research...
Some instructions I've read about applying minoxidil say you should wash your hair prior to applying minoxidil. Others don't mention it. Has anyone read anything as to 'why' its necessary?
What do you all think the best non-finasteride hair growth regimine would be, based on proven results by multiple people, not just your own personal experience?
I'm very uneasy about going back on propecia despite the moderate results I had on the drug. (For a variety of reasons I won't get...
I actually have mild prostatis since I've STARTED propecia...I definitely think Propecia can cause it..it works on the prostate, it can obviously aggravate it. But it also has to do with things like caffiene intake, stress, spicy foods, and depending on the type of prostatis, bacterial...
A few days after stopping propecia (after being on it for three years), I'm having some symptoms similar to those of prostitits. My urethra burns off an on, I'm having testicle pain, and some lower back pain.
Has anyone else ever experienced this after stopping propecia? I'm praying that...
I'm 33 and I've been on 1 mg propecia for about three years now. I haven't been on this site for a long time, but thought I would come back and share my experience. My hairloss started about 10 years ago, slowly, but I didn't start treatment until the propecia.
The good:
-I feel...
I've been on Propecia for three years now and I'm just starting a serious weight lifting routine to try to put on a lot of muscle.
Has anyone here had success gaining muscle while on Propecia? I've heard Propecia can hinder your effort to some extent, but I'm curious as to how much?
Can anyone help me with this? My dermo has given me paperwork for a PCS test. He said I should do it once or twice a year to be safe.
However, it occured to me after reading quite a bit on here about the possibility of gyno, that I should probably also have my estrogen levels tested. Does...
I've been on 1mg Propecia for over 10 months now (and 0.5 mg for five months before that). My problem is that my hair constantly sheds. Doesn't seem to ever stop. It makes me look like I have dandruff because each hair that sheds has the little white thing on the end (ok my hair terminology...
I've been on 1 mg propecia for a year now and I'm always paranoid about the possible gyno factor. I do have some extra fatty tissue in the chest, but I haven't excersized much lately, so I don't think I can make a fair assessment.
My question is: Is it possible to get gyno (even a mild...
