Scwarzkopf sun protect leave in cream conditioners

i would want a spray, but if you're okay with a cream, Q Sunshade by Q-SkinScience has been recommended in another thread. fwiw the BC Bonacure cream is readily available in the US, just the spray version is a little tougher to source. here's some links...

Scwarzkopf sun protect leave in cream conditioners

well i'm assuming the idea in this case is to get some sunscreen on the hair to stop the dye fading without also adding weight or grease etc i haven't tried any leave in product that i like but need some sun protection for this current piece. tempted to try straight sunblock spray honestly...

Scwarzkopf sun protect leave in cream conditioners

assume @threadkilla is referring to their beach wave spray, which is a texturizer in that product line. it's supposed to create 'surfer hair', and those surf spray-type products have salt and are drying a lot of the time. what do ya'll like so much about the bonacure product compared to coola...

Anybody Have Advice Regarding Dandruff and Oil?

if it's really bad see a dermatologist. anecdotally i find that eating a bland diet with lots of raw vegetables and avoiding, in particular, fried foods and fatty foods such as cheese can drastically reduce the amount of oil on my skin and scalp. try to avoid washing your scalp with very hot...

How do you evolve your system or style as you get older?

that definitely looks like v-loop to me. injection wouldn't have that much bounce, even lift injection. if you look at the way it's slightly sticking up in front, and the way the hair on top isn't quite uniform in direction and has a little randomness to it. some of the hairs are sticking up. it...

How do you evolve your system or style as you get older?

@deg_dilemma i know you're a fan of lower density pieces, and you've had great results with those. but keep in mind that the shorter you go, the more density you'll need to avoid exposing the base too much. i tend to for densities in the 120-130 range for a buzz cut (injection), or 110-120 for...

Ideal size and shape for bald patch

I agree with Hair2019 and BaldBearded. My bald area is kind of hourglass-shaped, and I started off wearing pieces in that shape. At one point I started wearing an 'ombre' color on top, which is dark roots and lighter ends with a gradient in between. With shorter back and sides in my natural...

What to do about thin bio hair when wearing a hair system?

This question gets asked a lot, try searching for 'thin sides' etc. Basically the options are keep getting tight fades, apply makeup (can be hairloss concealers like toppik and dermmatch, bigen, ultra thin eyebrow feathering pens to draw little hairs), tattooing (SMP) or wear a full cap. If you...

First time wearer looking for expert online consultation

Yeah, Black women are the most adventurous and resourceful hair wearers. Their forums and videos have some great hacks. So the makeup I would just apply a really tiny amount to the poly edge and then 'smudge' it into my skin to blend. Otherwise, that's right. I really wouldn't bother with...

First time wearer looking for expert online consultation

This is a very unpopular opinion on hairpiece forums, but: You can't make a hairpiece completely undetectable under the most unforgiving conditions. I do not like the word "undetectable" wrt hairpieces because it's an absolute, and it's a myth. But you can achieve a look that's very natural in...

As far as I can tell, the CNC is just a thick poly base. The skin color doesn't have to be perfectly matched. It just has to be 'close enough'. The only premium specification is the virgin hair, which by itself does not justify the cost.

First time wearer looking for expert online consultation

Hi, The reason they are saying you don't have to shave your hair is because their CNC base is opaque, meaning you can not see through it. Most men prefer thin, transparent bases that allow you to see the real scalp underneath it. However, most companies offer some opaque base types. For...

Cleaning a skin system with isopropyl vs citrus remover?

Yes, you can use isopropyl. C-22 can be applied for very short durations only as it may discolor the poly base. Most skin wearers do a full head bond with glue for various reasons.

Having a lot of trouble getting wavy/curly hair

I use a tint brush with a pin tail to apply the color and the tail end to section and separate the hair. I rinse it out and let it air dry, then I go back in with a tiny razor cleaning brush to do the "roots" closest to the base (again using the tail end of the tint brush to separate)...
