Just wanted to add my 2 cents worth to this old thread, since it may give you a bit of hope. I had good results with Finasteride, and then switched to Dutasteride (Avodart). I have been taking Dutasteride for about a year now. The most dramatic side affect has been that I now have an almost full...- hairydan
