    prostaglandine analogs

I looked at the link. 5-10% terminal growth doesn't seem very impressive.

    chest pains from minoxidil

I would stop taking the minoxidil. The same thing happened to me a few years ago. There are lots of other topicals that you can use in place of minoxidil.

    My Blood Test Results

Hormone levels tend to fluctuate a great deal during the day so I'm not sure how much stock to put in one test. Either way it sounds like increased estrogen or lowered dht or the combination of both is bothering your system. Why not try topical spironolactone, minoxidil, and nizoral?

    GNC Isomer E

Both the life extension foundation brand and advanced orthomolecular research brand have a breakdown on the label of the amount of specific tocopherols and tocotrienols. You can buy them both at http://www.iherb.com.

    Opinions on thie product...?

I don't think it's a bad idea. But, why not just buy the whole flax and grind it yourself? Even for organic flax it's like $1.00 a pound.

Please help me! frusturated, scared, 17 year old

I think due to your age you should definitely not take propecia. I suggest topical spironolactone and azelic acid from Dr. Lee, along with 5% minoxidil, and Nizoral.

New factor in my ongoing struggle...

So I take it the doctors at least did a complete blood count? Have you recently become a vegan or made any major dietary changes? Sometimes people see 10 or 15 doctors before they finally figure out what's going on. You could take photos of your eyebrows and eyelashes just to document...

    Experiments with dissolving spironolactone...(Part 1)

I'd have to agree with yeddie. It's possible that the solution removed with the eyedropper just happened to be 100mg of excipient matieral that dissolved perfectly in alcohol. Also, long term, I don't think it's a good idea to put alcohol on your scalp every day. Think of the alcohol...

    heres my story

There's no way you should be losing your pubic hair. Why don't you see an endocrinologist or an internist.

European Patent App for OSH101(aka OsteoScreen/Bald-Be-Gone)

This seems somewhat feasible, but I don't understand why it's patentable. The authors aren't creating any new compounds or anything, they've just apparently made an observation that proteasome inhibitors help grow bones, cartilage, and hair. Flux, can you tell us at what forum you saw...

    Topical Dutasteride?

topical dutasteride there's a whole science involved in terms of getting drugs/herbs/whatever to cross through the skin. I think unless you have some sort of a carrier like liposomes the absorption rate would be terrible. I've thought about trying to get a pharmacy to compound a liposomal gel with dutasteride.

Does anyone know how to make topical MSM?

*** monkey my arse. mucopolysachharidoses is a collection of diseases where the person can't get rid of glucosamine sulfate chains called glycosaminoglycans. people with this disease tend to have ridiculously thick scalp hair. For some reason when I saw msm, I was thinking of glucosamine...

Does anyone know how to make topical MSM?

shivs -- I'm curious, what made you think of this? was it because of the hair of people who have one of the mucopolysaccharidoses?

4-OHT Protein (new hair treatment discovered)

I appreciate your effort Luke. Please keep posting these types of articles. Not very many years ago people started taking proscar before it was approved for hairloss as propecia. There definitely is the potential to get in on new treatments a year or two ahead of the masses.
