Imo it is best to start Finasteride when you (think you) are fully developed. Can be at 15 for some, for others at 20. I don´t know where you are from, buy you can buy generics at online pharmacies.

Another negative thing about hairloss imo. You never know what the future looks like. When you start losing it is totally uncertain whether in 2 years you are still a NW2 or already a NW5. I guess this drives many guys insane and they start treatments. I did.

Most people are just trying to buy some time. I am 29 and I know that one day I will drop the treatments, but definetly not before I am 50. Who knows, maybe there are better treatments in a few years (yeah, I know, we are hearing this for years, but the hope is still remaining).
