Do y'all shower after dermarolling? I use betadine all over my scalp and on the needles themselves. It leaves a brown/red stain on my skin and dries up my hair a lot. I feel like I want to wash my head after?

I've got the ultima a6 pen. When I push it too hard onto my scalp, the blue needle cap just pops right off. I'm pretty sure i've turned it counter clockwise to lock it in? Anyone else got any experience with this, aha.
