    PFS = Anxiety?

    Not on/never have been on finasteride, so I won't draw conclusions for those suffering prolonged sides from it, BUT I do have mild anxiety that often gets a little more than mild and I experience A LOT of those symptoms you mentioned.

    Darn, so sorry to hear about the small, but annoying sides you were going through Supertramp. I hope 0.25/eod works out better for you. Best wishes!

    Finally acting against hair loss.

    Best of luck to you dude! Your density reminds me of mine, with a bit more hairline recession. Still not totally sure what's going on with my hair, if I'm diffusing, or just going out of my mind. Wishing you well man.

    A final attempt

    The Far Side, Did you continue on with finasteride EOD? Sorry to hear about the side effects after such a long time. How'd it go for you?

    Permanent hyperandrogenism after stopping Finasteride

    Sorry to hear that Dench. I hope you find something to at least rid you of the itch. Are you thinking about trialing setipiprant if others start seeing some results?

    Hey Dench, How are you doing man? Any relief or change in your situation?

    Hey Supertramp, What were you noticing prior to taking finasteride that made you want to treat your hairloss? Just hairline recession? Slight diffuse thinning? Just curious

    The Desire To Be 17 Again

    You have great hair man! As some have pointed out while your frontal recession may not be male pattern baldness after all, I know the worry it must be causing. Do you feel any change in density up top (ie diffuse thinning?) I hope your treatment works well for you! Keep us updated!

    Thanks for the look guys! Like I said not so concerned with the cosmetic appearance right now. Hair has just overall been feeling thinner, with some itching going on. Gunna keep an eye on it.

    Thanks Dubstep, I appreciate the kind words! Are you treating your hair loss?

    Rocklegends, agreed that's exactly why I posted to begin with. To at least try and get an idea of what's going on haha. I'm going to keep an eye on it and then if I'm still feeling unsure, I'll take shookwun's advice and see a hair transplant doctor and get my scalp properly looked at.

    That's good advice. Thanks shook. Anybody here from the Philadelphia area by chance? If I do start looking for a better derm, here is probably a good place to start asking around.

    Thanks for the look TD. Shook, your sarcastic sharp humor is just like mine, but I could see plenty of dudes getting bent out of shape haha. I appreciate the look. As far as being a metro, well I definitely care about my looks and hair so, whatever, I'll roll with it. Just trying to see if...

    Thanks for the look Alex. Any reason you feel strong about that diagnosis, as opposed to some of the others that have commented? I saw you're a diffuse thinner. Did your hair look similar at the early stages? How's your treatment going?
